Question:
I am adding transmission fluid to new zero turn Husqvarna MZ52LE transaxle. It came without the fluid from on-line dealer. The transmission is a ZT-3100. Instructions say to open "top port plug" on left and right side to vent air as fluid is added. What tool is used to open port plug? I am unable to get close enough to see but appears to be some sort of torque head, Size would be helpful.
The transaxles' expansion tank had a small tube with a filter? on the end on the end, loosely attached to the tank. Not sure of the purpose and don't know whether the hose and filter goes in the tank or whether it serves as air vent. The part numbers are 586 067501 and 530 095646 for the hose and filter, respectively
