    Question:
Husqvarna 445 Chain oil adjustment? (see details)
    Details:

I just purchased a factory refurbished Husqvarna 445 chainsaw and  I am wondering how to adjust the chain oiler.  I see the adjustment symbol on the bottom of the saw, but there is not a screw as some google searches indicate.  I'm wondering if my saw is missing the adjustment screw or if I need a special tool. What I see is a black horizontal shaft with little sprocket like indentations.

      Rick B.

I just looked at the IPL drawing for your Model chainsaw (445), and this chainsaw does Not have an adjustable oil pump, If there were an adjustment it would be obvious since about a 1" long screw with spring would be vertical, and seen from the bottom of your chainsaw.

They may have made your model with both an Adjustible, and a Non Adjustible oil pumps, which would be the same thing as some of the Model 455's, which were available with either pump.

      I hope this helps.
