       Hi Rob,

      Thank you for contacting Husqvarna.

Sorry your having trouble with your Automower. It sounds like you might have a battery issue. The batteries are no longer holding a charge so as soon as it starts out the "surface " charge has worn off so it starts looking for it's home. Now if that doesn't fix it you will need to contact your local dealer to see if they can help you diagnose any further problems. You can find your local Husqvarna dealers for sales, service, parts and manuals using the link. /images/us/homeowner/home/

Hope this helps. Thanks for using our products and have a great day.

Thank you for the response. Do you know if the battery is Nicad and if so can be refreshed. I have repaired NiCd drill batteries and was wondering if it would work on the mowers battery.

Also how do you find dealers who work on the automowers. The last time I had a problem the only dealer who would even look at it was one near the Husqvarna headquarters in Charlotte, NC and the only reason they accepted was because the techs from Charlotte visited his store once a month. I called the dealer today and the techs out of Charlotte no longer visit his store and he doesn't service Husqvarna Automowers anymore. Contacted Husqvarna customer support at the 800 number and they did not have any suggestions other than call local dealers which I have already tried with no success.

        Thank you
