    Question:
I recently purchased a 455 rancher chain saw. After a few cuts the chain stops moving. It appears it is to wide for the bar as it doesn't fit in the kerf properly. I installed a new chain and it moves fine along the bar but after a few cuts same thing happens. Any suggestions? I have been using the specified chain size per the product information that came with the saw and have been using husqvarnavchains.

First forget the the paperwork that came with the saw as it may be incorrect for the current setup.

Now lets verify you are using the right chain. On the tail of the bar is the specs for the chain. Are they the same as the chains you are installing?
