Question:
I bought a 6021 Walk Behind Mower in late October her in Florida at the Sears store. I used twice in the Fall then put it up for the cooler months. Before placing it into my shed for a bit of hibernation I made sure to empty out all the gas left over in the tank & disconnect the spark plug.
This past weekend I tried starting it and it will not turnover. I put in brand new gas as well as a small amount of fuel additive as I was recommended to do by the Sears Salesman.
I have tried to start it four different times and it just won't start. I brought it back to the Sears dealership where I bought it and he said there is nothing he can do. He told me I should find a Husqvarna dealer in town and they would repair it. Calling my local Husqvarna dealer told me the exact opposite that it was a Sears Service center to repair as I bought it there.
Basically neither one wants to deal with the mower. SO who do I go to for offical repairs? Is it Sears or Husqvarna?
*I'm pretty upset as I spent a good deal of money on this mower, used it twice and now wont run at all. I'd have a hard time recommending either company at this point.
