Question:

I have a new YTH21K46 that has a problem with the fuel system that floods the engine because the fuel tank becomes pressurized which force feeds the engine too much fuel. I've overcome the problem temporarily by loosening the gas cap a little to let the pressure escape..(it runs just great with a loosened cap).....but come'on Husqvarna...it's taking you an awful long time to let us know what to do about it, since I see that I'm not the only one with this problem. I expect to hear from you soon since i did register this product......I'm waiting................

Some of these units were shipped with the wrong fuel cap. Contact your local Husqvarna dealer and have the correct cap supplied to you at no charge. You can also contact our customer support line at 1-800-487-5951 to get the replacement cap shipped to you.

Your answer just made my day! Thank you very much for providing what I knew would turn out to be a simple fix to this problem. Now that I've had more time to use and get to know my new tractor, I must say that I love it! The ergonomic improvements over my ancient Craftsman mower make all the difference. A very comfortable seat with a high back, a step through chassis, a padded and comfortable steering wheel, and most of all having the hydrostatic transmission make this a piece of equipment that is extremely easy to use. If I had known what I was missing out on I would have bought one a long time ago! Thanks again,
