    I have a hu800awdh 22in. went to change the air filter and it was soaked with gas. with gas dripping from the air filter housing. any suggestions whats wrong.190cc eng

      The carburetor float valve is not seating fully and is leaking. Due to cost of these carburetors replacement is now the only thing done. Now of you need the associated gaskets which are no loner listed in the IPL. A good Honda dealer service department should be able to provide you with these parts. Also the changing of this carburetor can be a pain unless you know what you are doing as there are several gasket that must be the correct position. Also this one appears to have a thermal operated choke.

      Please don't use RTV when to reassemble as it makes one heck of a mess. I know I had to clean several engines of this lately and makes 20 min into an hour plus job. believe or not I even seen where someone tried using the RTV for head gasket replacement.
