    Question:
when using my new HU775BBC, when I pulled up the operator presence control bar the thing snapped in two just above the Blade break/clutch control. Since I just got this at Lowes in February, I would like to get the part replaced under the warranty. How do I do this?

Bad engineering, no doubt about it. I'm taking my HU775BBC back to Lowes this evening. Hopefully they'll take care of my malfunctioning machine. My blade brake MUST be engaged in order to start my mower -- IF -- I don't want the mower to vibrate itself apart.

Makes little sense to me why the blade brake being ON would smooth the engine & blade.... nor why the blade brake being OFF would cause such radical vibrations of the engine assembly.

Like I said, back to Lowes it goes.
