Just purchased a used YTH2046 lawn tractor #954567079. I can find OM that are close but not the exact one. Anyone have a pointer?
The tractor when I move the lever forward goes forward. But a minute or two latter it will stop moving (engine is fine). I need to move the lever even more forward and/or pull it back to neutral and then move it forward again. It would always work when I did this for the 30 minutes I tried it. How do I check the transmission fluid? How full should it be? What fluid goes in it (I have tractor transmission and hydraulic fluid for a Bobcat if that will work OK). Do I need to follow the directions to purge it from air. Maybe in moving it in my pickup it got some air?
