    I purchased a LTH18538 tractor earlier this year with intentions on purchasing a snow blower attachment later in the fall. Prior to the tractor purchase, I reviewed the tractor accessories on the Husky website and spoke to my local dealer. From all indications, this was a workable accessory with the LTH18538 tractor. Now, when I went to order the snow blower, my dealer informs me that the accessory is not recommended for my model, but was unsure as to why. He wasn't sure if it was due to the 18.5hp engine or the small frame. Any insight into this disappointing problem will be most welcomed.

    If the snow blower will not work with the LTH18538 model, it would be nice if Husqvarna posted an advisory on the LTH18538 & snow blower web page so others do not make the expense mistake I have made.

    Sorry you are getting conflicting information about with your LTH18538.

    The 42" -- Two stage Snow Thrower will fit any TEX style frame on 2006 and newer tractor models. TEX style frames include LT, YT, and GT tractors.

    So the Snow Thrower---part# 531 30 71-69 will work on your LTH18538. Wheel weights and chains are also recommended.

       Thanks Doug for the response. 

      I've been checking around on the Internet to see if there were any complaints about my model with the blower.  So far I haven't come across anything negative or positive.    Hopefully another LTH18538 owner will stop in and relate their experiences as well.
