    Question:
Poulan P3816 would not idle. I have been limping along the saw for about an hour so far. It would start well and runs right after starting but after engine rmp has been up then, it just dies as soon as I release my figner off the throtle triger. The saw has been like this always evern since right out of box. Please see my video and help me.

    Hi Yugeun

Thanks for contacting the Answer Army to post your questions.

You are trying to run the machine with the chain break engaged. That is why it will not idle when you first start it up. Start the machine and let it warm up, then release the break and try the throttle. The machine may need a carburetor adjustment but I think the break is the problem.

Thanks again from the Husqvarna Technical Services Team.
