Snow Blowers

I just purchased a 12527HV snow blower and as soon as I start the unit, it immediately is in gear and begins to drive forward. I do not have the traction control lever depressed, so I am not sure why it is moving at all. The only way to stop it is to pull both of the turn triggers at the same time. Any idea why it moves forward on its own?
