    Question:
I have a 350BT blower that seems to be exceptionally hard pulling to start. It almost takes 3 men and a boy to pull the starter cord. It works fine once started.

Does it seems to be too compression or just hard to pull the starter? The starter pulley maybe binding in its housing.

        Thanks for the reply.

I believe it's the compression.  Is there some valve adjustment or other adjustment to make the starting easier?

Personally I have yet to see a two cycle engine with valves. It could a problem in the cylinder/piston area which be check by removing the muffler and checking for heavy scoring or carbon build-up.

Also check that the flywheel isn't partially sheared. It looks like this is one those designs where the flywheel key is part of the flywheel and can be replaced by replacing the flywheel. I got a Poulan in shop now that has a sheared flywheel causing hard pull starting but it does even run well once started.

Thanks.  I'll check on these.  I'll take it to a shop with these suggestions.

Warranty is 2 years. Go warranty. The 350BT is awesome! It started first time even with the choke in off position. The power to blow the leaves away was beyond expectations! Once you adjust the harness belts to your fit, easy to get on and off. Did not need headset, noise is minimal. I emptied remaing gas out in prep for winter, started to burn off any remaining gas. Ready for next fall!!!!
