Question:

Manually reloading the string on to the spool for a string trimmer. Getting the loaded sting to release during use.

Details:

Poulan Pro pp330 strng trimmer. I am using correct diameter string, followed instructios and spoke to 3 people in cutomer service. Problem may be that my spool was incorrectly manufacutred. Both guide sloots are on one side and shown that was in the maual as well. Svc rep (seems to have had updated manual) said her manual clearly showed one slot on each end cover of the spool. I improvised and created a slot on opposite side of my spool. String still jams and will not release. I followed your instructions for cutting with the line TIP and for advancing line by tapping the base. It still does not work. HELP HELP HELP

I was never so disappointed in a product and customer service! When I first got this I had to take it to a service center to adjust the carb as it was using a tank of gas for each use (small residential property.)
