    Question:
I just bought a yth21k46 2 weeks ago and I have 2.2 hours on it. Can anyone tell me why the drive belt is smoking? It's not a little smoke either. As far as I can tell it's the back pulley, I can turn it but it's kinda tough. The front pulley has rubber from the belt flung everywhere.

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

The transmission pulley if this is the one you are talking about should have drag on it. With the comment also that you are having rubber flung everywhere is an indication that the belt maybe rubbing something.

Please take this to the local authorized Husqvarna service center to have the belt guides and pulleys inspected to make sure they are not rubbing.
