The instructions say "Insert the locking pin (C) in the hole to lock the shaft." I inserted the locking pin in the magnetized hole, but it does not lock the shaft. I have tried turning the shaft clockwise and anticlockwise to try to get it to lock, but no such luck. Is there a trick to locking the shaft so I can install the blade?
Answer
I found the answer. There was another plate (with three holes in it) not listed in the instructions. I placed that plate on first, and now the locking pin works.
