    Question:
I have a 128Ld string trimmer. It has been working fine since March 2011. Now it will not start at all. I'm performing the starting procedure correctly. What can be wrong? What do I do?

Thank you for contacting the Answer Army.

Sorry you are experiencing difficulties with your trimmer.

How old is the gas/oil mix? Husqvarna recommends 89 octane or higher gas that is less than 30 days old. Is the 2 stoke mix oil an oil that is formulated for 2 stroke air cooled engines and is JASO FD rated?

Have you replaced the spark plug? Husqvarna recommends a resistor spark plug thats a Champion RCJ-8Y with a gap of .020

There is also a video you can watch that may help, it is linked below.

If you are still unable to start your trimmer, please contact an authorized Husqvarna dealer in your area for evaluation and repair.
