    Question:
purchased a 562xp 2 years ago and had problems with it flooing from time to time. Now it won't idle. Took it to a dealer near me and they were suppose to replace the carburetor. funny that a saw well maintained would have a carb problem this soon. finally had to pull it from the dealer as Husqvarna has these carbs on backorder(as per the dealer). I am stuck with a saw that is unable to be fixed at a very ad time .I need to be out cutting wood for winter and my saw sat for way over a month at the dealer. the dealer has 3 other 562xp h etold me with the same problem. guess the carbs are no good. I have had good luck with the 4 Husqvarna saws that I have had, but I will never purchase another Husqvarna product due to this problem tat I am havig now .I brought the saw home and now can't even get it started. it ran fine before getting to the dealer. it just would not idle . I took the carb off and all looked well. I cleaned it very well and it now fires but will not start. wondering if nayone has any suggestions so I can fix it myself being as the dealer can't without buying a new carb that is not available from husky ? any help would be appreciated. A 700 and some dollar saw should run a lot longer than this without problem. they tell me husky has major carb problems with these saws. I am just seeing it now . time to chnge brands being there isno hel from Husqvarna on this issue. they should be recalled and fixed from Husqvarna and not the buyer. thanks in advance if you know anything that I can do to get it to run. Otherwise I am out a lot of money for buying this saw

I can only speak of the problems I had with other Husqvarna equipment as an independent shop owner but with Husqvarna reducing and merger all the US distribution centers into only two there have had long delays in getting parts in general at times. I ordered a 345 crankcase back in January and it took 2 months for me to get one.

I think the problem here is going to be multiple problems. First is the current part is on back order which means the base carburetor probably got to be ship in from Zama to Husqvarna then they got add the electronics. From there once it is received by the dealer or other shop/customer it must installed and then programmed to match your saw. All this can be very frustrating and time consuming.

We all got to patient with this as this is fairly new technology and very much like the early days automobile fuel injection systems and their problems. For us techs get is only going worse before it get better as other manufactures are having to add fuel injection to their engines too, to meet the EPA requirements. There will be fairly steep learning curve on this plus it is fairly costly for us to buy new test equipment and tools to work on these.

Now what you can do yourself. If the carburetor electronics are down then nothing other than carburetor replacement and reprogramming. If it is just bad diaphragms and gaskets, they can replaced but carburetor will still need reprogramming which you may or may not have the software and connecting cable. Since I haven't worked of the saws above the 450 or any of the Auto Tune versions I don't have this in my set tools yet.

I completely disassemble the carbs removing everything, including the low speed and high speed jets.  place the carburetor into a small container that can be sealed with a lid and submerge it in lacquer thinner for a coulple of days.  remove it and blow it out with a narrow hosel blow gun full force several times re-submerging after each blowout.  any openings that can be reamed with steel core wire should be reamed wet with carb cleaner (gumout) brand is what I use.  sometimes I get results on these tiny little carbs but not always. occasionally, the obstruction just will not clear out.

after re-assembly, don't use the CRV.  strap your trigger with Velcro to hold WOT while attempting to start. this will prove result, or no result.  good luck
