Hedge Trimmers

I have a Poulan 25HHT hedge trimmer and the heat shield broke off at the tabs. Currently the only way I can replace that is to purchase the entire assembly shroud (part# 530058799) which doesn't make sense since the plastic shroud is fine. Has anyone found just the heat shield by itself, and would it make sense to supply that as a separate part. The metal is very flimsy and the vibration is was caused the heat shield to break in the first place. I'll bet the trimmer only has about 10 hours of use and I would hate to by the entire shroud each time.
