Below is a picture of the part beside my receipt. the red part is what is in question. What is it aaaaand how do I use it?

  It is a cheap bar tip bearing grease gun. Note not all bars have the grease hole anymore.

to post an image you need to upload it to a photo-hosting site (like Shutterfly which is FREE), right click Properties, copy the URL (http:\\etc) and paste it in the IMAGE icon 3rd from left in upper row of the Post Answer box.
