    Question:
Approx. 2 months ago I purchased a Husqvarna push mower model HU800AWD/961450011. Traditionally for lawn mowers I've always purchased Troy built, but Lowes had a decent sale on this model, and it boasts it's most powerful Honda motor yet so I thought I would try. Since the first day of use I have been very displeased with the performance of it. Not only did one of the height adjustment handle break the 2nd time I tried to move it, but the mower does not much well at all leaving large clumps of grass everywhere. Whether I mow every 6 or 7 days or every 3, the mower just does not mulch the grass. Inquiring from you since this is a last years model has there been similar complaints about this issue, and or what can you recommend that may elevate the issue. Due to the fact that it's over 30 days Lowes will not take it back so I'm kind of stuck with it. Please feel free to contact me at your convenience , James Nero bullett76@yahoo.com

Well Husqvarna has been no help what so ever. I finally was able to speak with someone on the phone regarding the matter and after speaking with them for a brief period they told me and I quote, with this mower you can only cut and inch of grass at a time, and you must go slow, end quote. I basically told her you must be kidding me. so for a $500 mower to work correctly I have to mow my lawn every 3 days, and go slower than what the mower will actually go. And she said yes. Never again will I purchase a Husqvarna product. And to boot when I asked if there had been any issues with this mower or recalls she states, not that we see. On this web site I punched in my mower, and "mulching problems" and got over a dozen of these AnswerArmy posts where people were complaining about the same mower and issue. Thank goodness for Lowes. I went to Lowes today and spoke with the store manager, even though it was past the 30 days they honored the return for a full refund, and I walked out with traditional Troybuilt, which I will continue to stay with.
