    Question:
So disappointed in our Husqvarna tractor. We had always had John Deere tractors and about five years ago decided to try your lawn mowers. It was different than what I was used to, as for the mower deck not having 4 wheels, but I did get used to it. Recently, we had a neighbor who had a ga-zillion Candian thistles blowing in our yard so I put our bagger on and mowed, picking up the thistle, and after that discovered the next time I attempted to mow, oil all over the garage floor. We took it to our Husqvarna dealer, and were told that the motor had came apart on the top and it was throwing oil all over the motor and because of the valves it was not repairable. The mower had oil in it, as we do check it, so not sure what would cause this to happen. When we purchased the mower, we never thought we would be replacing it this soon. It ONLY has 129 hours on the engine! I have not even one acre, and it is all flat so I should have gotten a lot more use out of this mower. Very disappointed! John Deere is to be delivered on Monday and I won't be recommending your lawn mowers to anyone. Money poorly spent.Tried to talk to your customer service and since mower is out of warranty, they were not interested in helping us. Just isn't right with such low hours of usage. Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting that you have experienced this failure.

The problem described is an engine related failure and could have happened to with any brand equipment manufacturer. I do encourage you to discuss the failure with your local authorized engine service center for the appropriate engine manufacturer. While I understand you are upset, this should be discussed with the engine manufacturer.
