Chainsaws

I just bought a new PP3416. It will run for about a minute then quickly shutdown. It will idle and rev up just fine during that time then die. It takes six or seven pulls to get it restarted and the fuel is fresh (TruFuel premix). I tried running it with the gas cap open but that did not help. FWIW: For the short time I have had it running I did notice a small amount of oily residue around the muffler. And the saw is a refurb but looks like it was never used… maybe this ‘won’t keep running’ issues is why it got returned.?
