    Question:
I just purchased a 350BT Leaf Blower from Sears. The manual refers to a optional left side handle. I have checked all over Grand Junction, CO and cannot seem to find anybody that I can order the handle from. Can I order direct from Husqvarna?

    Hi Rick

Thanks for contacting the Answer Army to post your questions.

The left handed unit is the 350BF and is not optional equipment. The entire machine would have to be rebuilt to accompany a left handed throttle. Also we do not sell product directly to the consumers, you would have to go through either one of our dealers or one of the big box stores like Sears or Lowe's.

Thanks again from the Husqvarna Technical Services Team.

      Greg,

Your reply actually offends me.  Let me dumb this down a bit.  I am not asking for a blower tube on the left hand side.  What I am asking is right in the owners manual so go check it.  My point is this, Husqvarna sells a left side handle for the 350BT.  The purpose of the handle is only stabilization of the backback while in use.  The standard unit, without the optional left side handle tends to put a lot of the weight of the backpack on the users right shoulder almost to the point of the backpack being off balance.  The obvious reason for the optional left side handle is to give the users left hand something useful to do like stabilize the position of the backpack.  It is in the book as an optional piece.  Now, back to my question, where can I order one because none of your dealers in Grand Junction CO seem to have tha ability to take my money and send me the part.
