    Question:
I have a Husqvarna lawn tractor model LOYTH20F42T that quit running. I did not turn the mower off before leaving the seat and the automatic shut-off turned the mower off and gave a large backfire. When I go to fire it back up the mower just clicks once and will not turn over. Is this a battery issue? or is it a starter issue? or is it a seat sensor issue? I need to get the mower back up and running becasue it stranded me with half a yard to mow by push. Not a fun time.

Also on a seperate question the hour times ready 'CH6 OIL." Does this mean it needs changed? The mower has 100.3 hrs on it.

I have experienced something similar, twice.  First time, the battery terminals were loose, and after tightening it worked fine.  The second time, I still had the mower blade engaged, and that interrupts the starter circuit. Check those two and try again.

Dummy me. The blades were engaged. After letting it sit for a few days and becoming more calm, I realized the baldes were in the on position. I left the key in the on position and now the battery is dead. Even jumping it with my car and running it for about 40 minutes, the battery still will not fire up on its own. Now the blades won't engage. If the battery is bad, would it not have enough power to run the blades while running the mower?

Ok so I am going to bring this thread back from the dead.  The blades were in fact engaged and this is why the mower would not start.  Now, I have had trouble with the charging system ever since.  I have bought a new battery and it still is not charging.  What could be the problem/solution?

I am also leaking oil it seems from the bottom of the engine.  I have printed off the engine manufacturer build manual with exploded views of everything to get a better idea.  Any insight into this issue would be appreciated.

      Thanks
