I have had a model 7021 CH1 mower for almost 10 years ... it runs fine and does a good job....
about two seasons ago, I relplace both front wheels because of tire wear...
Unforunately, the ring gear inside the wheel has worn significantly on the new wheel .. not just once, but on two newly purchased replacements. Last year, I replaced that wheel twice. And now it looks like I'll need to do it again. Even the local dealer said that they get a lot of them replaced and that "it's a bad redesign" ... FYI: the interior of the wheel is clean ... and the mower is otherwise in very good shape. I'm not too happy about having to replace the wheel two times a season and wonder if you have any other solutions or suggestions. IF you have an old wheel with a harder internal gear .. I'll buy it!!
