    Question:
husqvarna 1830 purchased 3 years ago new. want to change plug and don't want to turn a 5 minute job into a 5 hour project.

located plug, high voltage wire comes in from the right and connects to plug via a tubular elbow metal shield vice a rubber boot.

pulled the shield off the plug but it will not clear the top of the plug and i don't wish to force it.

to the right of the plug the plug wire comes out from underneath a baffle which also has the choke, primer and key on it. figured the baffle had to be removed so loosened its bolts but the baffle doesn't move easily and i don't want to force it unless thats the way it comes off.

HOW DO I REMOVE THE SPARK PLUG ON THIS ENGINE??

    THANKS

Info on the Chinese LCT engines is very lacking even the parts diagrams when they can found them are poorly done. The so-call repair manuals are a joke. I did find a parts breakdown on that engine but it is unclear as where heat shields are.

If you very good at taking things a part and putting them back together in working order it is very well that the cover needs to come off. I just don't as snow engines are non-exist here in the Southeast USA. One piece of advice if you doing your on work take lots of good clear pictures as you go as references later.
