    Question:
    Engine specifications

I'm a mathematics instructor teaching an applied calculus course to Engineering Technology Students. I'm looking for specifications about 2-stroke engines such as cylinder radius/diameter, connecting rod length, piston head height, displacement of connecting rod from driveshaft etc. Is there a good technical resource on these or a number to call to speak to someone? Thanks in advance.

      Robert,

Don't  you mean "I don't know where?"  Because clearly this information exists somewhere because somebody programs machining tools to produce these parts.  These specs exist, if you don't know where, no problem.

      Cheers

kevin,  these guys at Husqvarna will never even respond to your inquiry.  that would require work ethic and effort.

there likely are resources on-line to find tech specs to assist in tool-up for machining.  when I need to make either tool or part, I use a dial caliper so that it is possible to accurately build it on the 1st attempt.  but I have the saw on my bench directly in front of me when performing either repair or re-build.

I am quite certain you will find the info if your imagination can carry you thru the infinite info base offered on the web. I use it for info that I use in far less ambitious endeavors.

      good luck...
