Question:
Bought 6021P push lawn mower today and am using it without the mulch bag and with the side door closed. The seal between the back door and the frame is not tight and thus grass and dirt blow toward the engine and the air cleaner. There needs to be some sort of rubber gasket to provide a tight seal, else I will be cleaning the air filter every 10 minutes. See attached picture to appreciate how much junk is coming out of the leaking area. I think it's a lousy design or a manufacturing problem and am ready to take it back to Sears.

I also have the same problem with my newly purchased 7021p mower..only difference is the honda engine on mine..never experienced that amount of grass clippings with any other mower I've used..hopefully their engineering dept. will come up with a fix..
