    Question:
What is the difference between the Husqvarna home owners series and Husqvarna Professional series saws? Please be specific as it might relate to one saw lasting longer than the other. Does the professional series have stronger or different material used or is it just a matter of power?

357xp has 56.5cc and is $719.95 on Husqvarna website while the
455 Rancher has 55.5cc and is 399.95 on Husqvarna website.

    Ro,

The main difference in the saws are engine related. Many of the homeowner and landowner saws have single piston rings and the cases are made of composite material. The professional saws are made of magnesium. Cylinder design and porting is also different. The other main difference is the professional saws are built in Sweden and the homeowner and landowners are built in the US.
