    Question:
I have been working on an Husqvarna 232L E-Tech string trimmer and the problem I am having is that I have replace the ignition coil with the new replacement and trimmer will not start. I can put the old coil on and it will start. I am needed to know what the problem is and how to make the trimmer run with the replacement coil. Any help would be great.

Since it runs with the old ignition and not with the new one. I would think it is safe to think that the new coil is defective and I have heard of this happening in the past. The testing is basically what you have done as it is a GO / NO GO test.
