Just bought the 122C Husqvarna trimmer for about $175 after going thru several cheaper trimmers , under $100 made in China.
It worked great for approx 2 hours.
Best tool I ever used...for that 2 hours.
I wasnt being overly aggresive, bumped a rockery with the trimmer head, and suddenly it has stopped working. The motor runs but the head wont spin.
Hey Husqvarna...people dont mind spending more for a quality product that ISNT made in China but seriously...it should be better than the ones made in China!
After only 2 hours I am now on Husqvarna dot com trying to find a local repair shop instead of finishing my lawn, the site is NOT user friendly.
I put my zip code in and got nothing.
I live right in the heart of Seattle.
Husqvarna...get it together !
No wonder China is kicking our butts !
I guess Im off to buy a Chinese weed eater!

It is upsetting that you have had this problem.
I do suggest that you take the unit to a local authorized service center for repairs.
I used the dealer locator's and the zip code 98108 and there are several dealers in the area.
