    Question:
I have a Husqvarna 141 chainsaw that I recently replaced a spring clip (PN: 501 87 47-01) on the clutch brake assembly. My problem is, now I cannot seem to recall how to re-install one of the other parts, which is another type of spring (PN: 503 57 97-01, See attached illustration). The illustration attached seems to indicate that it fits on the main pivot point of the brake handle, but this seems to be incorrect. This is probably a very easy fix for someone more advanced than I concerning chainsaw repair. I appreciate any help you all can provide.

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

Do not attempt to use the chainsaw till you can have the chain brake properly assembled by an authorized Husqvarna service center.

Because of the are of the part ( chain brake) and this is a safety item. Your authorized servicing dealer needs to reassemble this for you and test it. having this not assemble correctly could result in personal injury or death.
