Question:

I have a self propelled mower p/n 917.374780 that I've owned for many years virtually trouble free. I was recently mowing around a thick bush when I noticed the starter rope broken and the handle missing. It doesn't call out the rope or handel in the IPL. Can you help?

Unfortunately we can not, the part you describe is an engine related part. We do not support third party engines.

Also even though we produced the mower for Sears we do not have support materials. That is a Sears exclusive mower and all parts and service would need to be obtained from Sears.
