Question:
I have an old Husqvarna 355 chainsaw, made in Italy, and I need to find a new bar for this saw. I have been looking everywhere and cannot find a bar that actually fits. All the bars that are supposed to fit are too narrow between the mounting stud slot and the tensioner stud holes. I currently have a Tilton Super Bar with 3/8 pitch at 050 gauge with an Oregon 72 link D70 chain. Please HELP!
Answer
The cross reference are showing a K095 but if you measure center spacing and diameter of the tensioner holes as it might be D009 mount but there are few other mounts out here.

I saw the K095 references, and even bought that size bar, but the spacing is far too narrow. I am looking into the D009, as it seems those are the 2 patterns used by Husqvarna.

Actually there is two more the smaller A041 and the A095 that is use on the Husqvarna saws too. All use the M8 studs. There is also a Poulan version that uses the M12 studs.

So I measured the distance between the tensioner holes, and from center to center it is 1 1/4" or 31.75mm I cannot however find any diagrams that show what the spacing is on the D009.

According to my bar tail images the D009 is 28mm C to C with 8.2 stud slot. Sorry can't be of further help as my Timber Ridge supplier has nothing with that spacing. Please check with your local Husqvarna dealer and see if they can be of help.
