Leaf Blowers

I have a 145BT Blower that's about 10 years old. The Pawl assy. (crank) works intermittently. I took it in for service and the shop said the part is no longer available/made. I found that strange because that's a simple common part. I asked what could I do to fix- His response was "there's no fix, you have to buy and new one" Seems like a rip off.
Other than the pull assy. the blower runs great.
any suggestions?
I own several Husqvarna tools - it might be time to switch brands - customer service so far is a hassle.
