Question:
I have a Craftsman lawn mower (917.377790) that was made by American Yard Products which I understand is now part of Husqvarna. I'm having trouble locating the wheel height adjustment lever, p/n 160477X004 (alternate 532160477). Does anyone have a source for this part?
Note: Bottom part of lever in photo is broken off.
Answer
Part is no longer available. Your out of luck unless you can find one in a mower graveyard.

So, is this an example for the MBA Handbook on How Not to Run a Business. "Gosh, thanks for buying our product, however, now that you need a critical part, YOU'RE OUT OF LUCK. You should have known several years ago that this part was going to break and obtained one when it was still available. And by the way, don't hesitate to buy another one of our products in the future."
Does anyone have the e-mail address of a Manufacturing VP at Husqvarna so I can contact him/her and request that they take the die off the shelf, put it in a press, and run 1000 of these for the spare parts market? Thanks.

Avi, thanks for the response. I placed an order with ereplacementparts.com shortly after your first post. Then I saw your follow-up post and was expecting to get an order cancellation notice. However, it never came. Then I received a notice that my part had been shipped. I received the correct part two days ago and installed it yesterday. It's working fine. Try placing your order again with ereplacementparts.com.
