    Question:
Should there be play in the drive shaft? Between the clutch drum and the attachment.
    Details:

Crazy Husqvarna provides no support or means to contact them... My last Husqvarna purchases ever!

I replaced the shaft on my Trimmer 126cd. However it seems I may have a defective shaft. When spinning the trimmer clutch drum, with an attachment connected like the trimmer. The attachment does not spin. It seems like I may have a defective drive shaft. If I spin the drum with nothing connected the bottom of the drive shaft moves. If one stops, seems the other does as well, drum or drive shaft. However when I connect an attachment, trimmer, edger, blower, etc. Those do not spin. They sort of do, but if you put any resistance. You can stop them spinning but the clutch drum will continue to spin.

Is that a bad drive shaft? Or something else?

Not many pieces between drum and the attachment. Really seems like a bad drive arm or something along those lines.

No play or very little if any. It is a straight drive once the flex shafts leaves the clutch drum.

That is what I thought. There does not seem to be any when nothing is attached. But soon as I attach something. It seems like it is not catching properly at the bottom. Thus not spinning the attachments. I guess I got a defective drive 575262501 Kit "Upper Shaft, Incl Flex". I was about to replace the clutch, but I think that is fine. The problem seems to be between the clutch drum, and the attachment. Which is the upper shaft I replaced... Guess I can return and order another.

      Thanks!
