    Question:
I have a Husqvarna 225R brushcutter--ser. no. 7170823. The carb in it was a WT 270 Walbro--part no 503 28 15-06. The parts notes said that this carb has been replaced by part no. 577133001.

Question: the new carb has a port for a primer bulb line. The old brushcutter doesn't have a primer bulb. How do I put this carb in my brushcutter? Do I just plug the primer port or do I need to add a primer bulb too?

Appears you just plug that port. See the below where it was already plugged.

Thanks Eugene--you were right. I just put it all together and it started up and ran just fine. The little red plug was laying loose in the bag and I had assumed it was a shipping device. I put in on the primer port as in the picture. The ultimate problem with this brushcutter after I dug into it was that the fuel line had cracked at the filter and it was sucking dirty fuel directly into the carb. That is why the original kept fouling. New fuel filter, clean carb and away we go. Now I need a new back.
