    Question:
I have a 125b leaf blower that will not start. I started with the fuel lines and filter that were no good and replaced all, I have replaced the carburetor after cleaning the old one just to make sure, I have replaced the spark plug gapped .020(3 times) and coil, replaced the kill switch (disconnected the kill switch), removed the flywheel to check key for timing purpose, I purchased a spark tester to make sure that I was getting spark, checked compression it was 94 after 5 or 6 pulls. The blower will not hit at all. What am I missing.

First did you clean or replaced the muffler spark arrester? When clogged the engine can't breathe.

Second on the compression was this reading with the throttle held open? If so then compression is too low. It takes from my experience at least 100 psi for a two cycle to even hit.

I did take the spark arrestor screen off and cleaned it,I did not have the throttle open when I checked the compression. I will check it that way next.

Thank you since my last post i checked the compression again with throttle open and the compression was the same  I️ took the piston out to find that my ring was broke and was full of carbon. I purchased a new ring and installed it and my  ompression was still in the mid 90’s so i purchased a new cylinder and piston kit and installed them. After i got it together and checked my compression it is now around 112. I primed the fuel and tried to start and i could tell it tried to hit 1 time and it will not fire anymore . Yes i could have just and went and bought a new one but i would like to accomplish getting this one running for experience.
