    Question:
To change the spark plug on ST227P Snow Thrower... do I need to use a thin walled 13/16" spark plug socket or a special spark plug wrench?

E-mail from engine mfg states that at the factory sometimes the valve cover is set too high and interferes with the spark plug removal. Was suggested to loosen the 4 screws holding the valve cover and slide down a bit. That maybe easier said then done. I also purchased a thin walled spark plug wrench. I'll try that first. Will post what worked.

Unable to get to the upper right top screw, Will have to get creative to loosen that screw. Waiting on the spark plug wrench.

I tried to move the valve cover as was suggested, that didn't work. I got the wrench today and that worked it is an Arnold Extended Spark Plug Wrench Part # 490-850-0018.

        New plug is in.
