Question:
I need a new 588122301 2000W Drive control cable for my new ST 230 Snow Thrower model number 961930101 03.I bought it at Lowes two months ago and after only three uses the cable that controls the drive has sawed through its own housing. The design requires a bend in the cable just after the drive lever end the is a bit more than 90 degrees so the braided steel cable cut through it like a saw.
Details:
As you can see in the attached photo, the cable has sawn through both the cover and mounting end. This happened because of the sharp bend required by the design. Please provide a new cable and instruction on how to prevent the problem from occurring again.

Answer
Same thing here after less that 4 hours of use. If I had known they would go cheap on the cables I wouldn't have bought mine. How much more can a properly metal lined cable cost, I mean a bicycle has metal lined cables so this doesn't happen.
