Question:
I have a Husqvarna model 51 chainsaw, I cannot get the kick back brake to release by pulling the handle back to re-*** it. I'm afraid I might break something if I force it. Most other times I could pull the handle back, and I would hear a click and it would reset. any suggestions? The brake stays on and the chair will not turn.
Answer
May need to replace the chain brake assembly due to wear.

Thank you, I went ahead and strong armed it, don't you know it clicked right in. used the saw all day no problem.
