I have a YT42LS22 that runs very well but I have found a tar like substance pooling under one of the calibrators. This substance washes away with just water? What could be causing this?Thanks Ken
I don't understand what you're referring to here. Please clarify as I don't what calibrators you are referring to.(Carburetor, Valves, or something else)
Sounds like it might be a slight oil leak as I have seen the governor though shaft to leak a little when slightly overfilled on oil on some engines. But the easiest way to determined if it is an oil leak is to use some UV dye in the oil and check after running the engine for about 30 minutes,
