    Question:
I bought a Husqvarna 235 and love the saw. I have been sharpening my chain and it works great but I will have to replace the chain at some point in time. I have looked in the manual and it says there are 56 Links for a 16" bar and I am wondering if I can use a 57 Link chain instead?

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

A chain with 57 drive links may fit however I doubt it will give you a full service life. As the chain wears and you would adjust the bar forward, you would run out of adjustment before the chain was worn.

The 56 dl chain is your better option to give a full service life.
