I recently purchased a Z254F mower with a Kohler engine from Amazon that was DOA. When I tried to start the engine, the starter would not engage and it blows the fuse. Our local dealer, L&S Small Engine Repair, refuses to do warranty work on items bought on line. Is this a Husqvarna poilicy? How do I get my mower repaired?

Well many local dealer will only service what they sell. Contact your Amazon supplier for help with this problem. You also can trying calling Husqvarna customer service at 1 (800) 487-5951 and they might be able to help.
I recently had Kohler engine was under warranty that no one local would accept for repairs unless I carried the complete machine or they simply refuse to provide service as they didn't sell the equipment. This is even Kohler tech support confirmed the engine was under warranty and all i had to do was to carry in the defective coils for replacement. I got no where with any of the dealers so customer had me repair the ZTR and paid me for the parts and labor as he neede to use thew mower and not wait 2 months for someone get off their backside.
