    Question:
Bar Chain Oil Leaking from never-used saw
    Details:

    Hello,

I have a brand new 450E.  I bought it a few months ago and haven't had to use it until now.  When I opened the saw case, it was full of the bar chain oil.  It had leaked out entirely.  The cap was put on tightly, and it doesn't appear to be the seal, so there must be a leak somewhere I can't see.

My question is: is this serviceable and covered under the Husqvarna warranty?  And, what should I do?

Husqvarna warranty sucks, basicly becasue the service departments can't fix this problem, becasue the company refuses to admit its a design issue.  If you take your saw in for repair they will tell you there is nothing wrong with it and charge you for there time, like the jack *** did to me.  Mean while as of last week I'm still finding bar oil in the back of my car from 4 years ago, after my  455 rancher did the same thing.  Good luck fixing it.  Sorry I can't be of more help.
