I have a Husqvarna 2348LS mower. 10 yrs old. Both steering draglinks worn, so I bought 2 new from dealer but got them mixed up somehow. Draglink LH is part 532 19 47-40 and draglink RH is 532 19 47-41. One of the two draglinks have a 1: blotch of red paint on one end. (one of the old ones did too). But only ONE draglink and only on One end of it. Where does that end go? Right-forward,right-rearward or left side?
Answer
Sounds like you got into a big hurry and removed both of the old links before getting the new ones. It will be trail and error on fit now as you got everything mixed up. Just install them where you have the best clearances. This where we got to be careful as not mix things up before install or remove everything both install.
Maybe the dealer can help figure which link is which if he another set on hand.
