    Question:
This question concerns the corporate logic behind the pole assembly part number 576187001 $18.79

For a Poulan Pro electric pole saw Model PLN1510

Ridiculous,I say,for the part needed to BE NOT AVAILABLE

I need the ring that tightens the pole extension lock jaws.

Made of flimsy plastic, and broke after two uses.

So this part will cost the company maybe $2 to injection mold, pack ,inventory and ship to me.

But no, I will have to return the saw (which I found to be the best one because of its features and price)

And buy the Competitor's unit with a slightly better engineered extension locking mechanism.

Great. You guys at the top amaze me.Now you've lost another customer.

    Thanks a lot.

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting that you experienced this failure.

The failure you describe is not common, actually I have not heard of this part failing. I would thing the unit may have been damaged somehow causing the failure of the part. Did you take the unit to your local Poulan dealer to be looked evaluated? If not I would recommend that you take the pole-saw to your local authorized service center.
