    Question:
455 needle bearing lube. Manual says weekly. posts says certified dealer. How often is it to be done? Sounds like misprint in manual if done weekly by dealer. I lube bar with grease but dont want to neglect engine components even more. So do i do it or dealer? If i do it, how (manual not specific). If dealer does it, seriously- how often does it have to be done? Thanks much.

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

The needle bearing requires special tools for disassembly and lubrication.

Your dealer will need to perform this service for you. The bearing is designed to run for up to 6 - 8 hours a day 5 days a week. To extrapolate that would be about every 30-40 hours and if you don't use it that much in a years time at least once a year.
